The death of the Traditional ruler in Kaduna was traced to a bandit attack and reports shows that the Ruler was shot dead – Bandits kills Traditional Ruler In Kaduna 

During the Bandit invasion on Sunday at the Magajin Garin Idasu in the Giwa which is the Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Malam Magaji Ibrahim, was reportedly shot dead.

Daily trust said that one of the youth leaders in Rahiya village, Ridwan Abdulhadi, told them that 70 percent of people in the village ran away to safer locations in part of Zaria and Giwa towns.

The traditional ruler was shot dead when he came out of his house crying for help after the banditry invasion.  Sharehu Idasu said.

The bandits also stole motorcycles. this is in accordance to what Idasu said.

Reports shows that the deceased has been buried according to Islamic rites.

Four other persons sustained injuries. Such people and orphans need urgent attention from the government.

The attack was carried out on three communities in Giwa LGA leaving 38 persons dead.

29 out of 38 names of the deceased were released by the state government on Sunday.

Attacked communities include Kauran Fawa, Marke and Riheya.
