The federal government took to the court on Monday to file fresh terrorism charges against the embattled leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu – FG files fresh terrorism charges against Nnamdi Kanu
In the amended process filled before the sitting at the federal high court in Abuja, the government has increased the number of charges from the usual number as stated last year. This is an increase in cases filled against Nnamdi Kanu.
The leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kalu who had been in detention since his all edged abduction from Kenya and compelled to return to Nigeria, has faced up to seven treasonable felony charges, but now, he will enter his fresh plea to 15ammended charges marked FHC/ABJ/CR/383/2015, and signed by the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, M. B. Abubakar.
The charges spoken about, were amended barely 24 hours before the scheduled commencement of hearing by trial Justice Binta Nyako.
