More than 1,300 Migrants have lost their lives to the Mediterranean sea this year. Migrants dies in Mediterranean sea over illegal migration to Europe

A boat transporting 92 Sudanese, Gambian, Nigerian, Pakistani, and Ghanaian nationals drowned in the Libyan coastal city of Zawara on Wednesday 17th November 2021. A huge number of migrants died at the spot.

A least number of 15 travellers were rescued by fishermen, according to reports by the info migrants.

Just 6 bodies were retrieved by the fishermen with local support.

Over 1,300 migrants have lost their lives this year over illegal migration to Europe via Italy through the Mediterranean sea.

A number greater than 30,000 migrants have been stopped at the sea and forcibly returned to Libya since January. Almost a triple of last years interception figures.

Governmental bodies in Europe are still planning to initiate effective measures to stop the flow of African Migrants over the Mediterranean sea from Libya

According to Italian government, more than 61,000 have reached Italy.
