Marriage is a living bondage
“If this is what you guys define as perfect marriage .. bro, I want out, I am done done!” Oscar Olatunji blows hot after listening to his friends at the bar describe his marriage as a perfect one any single man would crave for.
“Ah .. Oscar!” His friend Jimmy Exclaims.
“I would rather choose to be single than to get myself wrapped up in this bondage of thing described as marriage” he continues.
“If and only if I could turn the hands of time .. God!!” Oscar Exclaims.
“Calm down bro.. it’s barely two months of marriage and you are complaining” Fred tries to console him.
“It’s two months and two days now . Two good months of me living in satanic bondage” Oscar describes.
“You seriously need to mind the way you use those terms” Jimmy advised.
“Heey.. you don’t get it do you? ..” Oscar asked Jimmy.
“You don’t know what I am passing through right now because you are still single. By the time you get married to a lady that is hell bent at striping your own peace of mind. Then and only then will you realize how evil those gender are..” Oscar Explained.
“With the way you are talking about it, I might end up not getting married” Jimmy replied.
“Best, that is the best thing you would ever do for yourself Jimmy ..stay single” Oscar advised.
“No ..no no .. don’t say that Oscar.. Marriage is a beautiful thing” Fred quoted ..
“Beautiful my foot .. you can only confuse those who have not gotten a thirst of the national cake” Oscar replied.
“Wow .. wow ..wow.. with the way you are going about this Oscar .. you are beginning to scare me .. common man, my wedding is next month” Adekunle replied after hours of silence to the ongoing debate.
“But Fred here has a very successful marriage. A peaceful home and all that .. Marriage is not such an a$$hole to him unlike Oscar who we taught is inside life after marrying the most beautiful and sexie$t girl in town only to end up being victimized ..please guys, I am going into this thing called marriage by next month. If there is anything I need to know, you better start talking and stop this scary complains” said Adekunle.
Oscar busted into laughter..
“Who has a successful marriage? .. oh he didn’t tell you” Oscar said with laughter.
“Marriage has it’s ups and downs .. but our ability to stand strong and fix our differences as a couple makes us stronger .. I think you need a one on one conversation with your wife Oscar” Fred replied.
“Wow.. heyy .. please how do I unhear this? .. if Fred’s marriage is also passing through difficult times, who am I? . .. ahh! .. Fred our relationship doctor!!!” .. Adekunle exclaimed.
“I will never get married . Guys thank you so much for this .. my peace of mind is very important to me .. lol” Jimmy said as they all laughed out loud . . Fred on the other hand was feeling bad. He believed his friends were seeing marriage the wrong way. But what could be so wrong in a marriage filled with ups and downs .. after all .. it’s a Bloody Marriage …
