This small girl this man is always disturbing.
Every evening she comes to fetch water, the man will block her way.
“Be my wife. My girlfriend. Visit me na. Let me carry the gallon for you,” he would fuss.
The girl would scream, beg, shout, say Nehi, she’s not interested, but the man won’t hear.
Some of us also fetching water has warned him to leave her, but he still comes to to trouble her.
This evening, the man was blocking the girl again, when her father, an old man happened to walk past.
He rushed and separated his daughter from the man’s hold, and when he asked what was happening, she said the man was the one she told him disturbs her.
“Ah! Ah!” the girl’s father said. “Mr. Man, why won’t you leave my daughter alone to fetch her water?”
“Papa, I no fit leave this your daughter o,” the man said. “She too fine.”
“Well, bring your mother to me and I’ll make you one just like her,” the father replied.
The man paused.
The girl paused.
